Blitz Sudoku privacy policy
Effective 15 October 2026 · app version 1.0 for iPhone and Android
Blitz Sudoku is a sudoku game with four difficulty levels, Samurai sudoku, a new challenge every day and leaderboards. The app is free and shows ads from Google. This page explains what data is used and by whom.
Who is responsible
RegneMatik, Stationsvej 56, 5771 Stenstrup, Denmark, CVR 46775988, is the data controller for the app. Write to regnematik@gmail.com. For the ads, Google Ireland Limited is an independent controller of the data Google collects.
What the app stores – and where
- Your game: games in progress, statistics, coins, hints, colours, day streak and your settings. This is stored locally on your phone and is never sent to us. It may be included in your phone’s backup as described below.
- Backup on Android: if Google backup is turned on for your phone, Android may keep a copy of your game in your own Google account so it follows you to a new phone. We have no access to that copy.
Ads (Google AdMob)
The app shows ads between games and optional ads you choose to watch for a reward. The ads are provided by Google AdMob, which may process:
- the advertising ID: on iPhone (IDFA) only if you allow tracking when your iPhone asks; on Android Google’s advertising ID, which you can reset or delete in your phone’s Settings → Google → Ads,
- IP address and the approximate location derived from it,
- device type, operating system, language and app version,
- which ads are shown and whether you tap them, plus crash and performance data from Google’s SDK.
This is used to show and measure ads and to prevent fraud. Personalised ads are only used with your consent. The first time you open the app in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, Google shows a consent message. If you decline consent, personalised ads are not shown. Depending on your choices and Google’s consent status, limited ads or no ads may be shown. You can change your choice at any time in the app under Settings → Ad privacy, and tracking can be turned off in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android, go to Settings → Privacy → Ads (or Google → Ads) to reset or delete the advertising ID.
Read more in Google’s privacy policy and about how Google uses data from apps. If you buy Ad-free, no more ads are shown between games.
Leaderboards (Apple Game Center and Google Play Games)
If you are signed in to Game Center, your score and time are sent to Apple’s leaderboards under your Game Center name. Apple handles this under Apple’s privacy policy. We only see what appears on the leaderboards. Game Center can be turned off in iPhone Settings.
On Android, Google Play Games works the same way: if you are signed in, your score and time are sent to Google’s leaderboards under your player name, under Google’s privacy policy. You can sign out or change your player name in the Google Play Games app.
Reminders
If you turn on Notifications in the app, reminders about the daily challenge are scheduled locally on your phone. Nothing is sent to us.
Purchases
Ad-free is bought through Apple (iPhone) or Google Play (Android), which handle payment under Apple’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy. We receive no payment information. The app only asks Apple or Google Play whether the purchase is complete.
What the app doesn’t do
No account and no analytics of our own. The app does not ask for access to contacts, camera, microphone, photos or precise location. We do not sell any data.
Deletion
Local app data is normally deleted when you uninstall the app without keeping its data. Backups held by Google or Apple may remain and may be restored when you reinstall the app. You can manage backups through your account or phone settings. Data held by Google and Apple, including purchases and leaderboards, is retained and deleted under their own rules; see the links above.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and ads are set to be suitable for all ages.
Your rights
We hold no data about you that we could hand over or correct. If you have questions, write to us. You can always complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet.
Changes
If we change how the app uses data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
