Privacy Policy for Klaret
Effective October 1, 2026
Klaret is an app that helps families keep track of children's chores, hearts and pocket money. This page explains what the app stores, where it is kept and what it is used for.
Who is responsible
RegneMatik, Stationsvej 56, 5771 Stenstrup, Denmark (CVR 46775988) is the data controller. Write to regnematik@gmail.com.
What the app stores
- The parent's account: name, email address and password. The password is handled by our sign-in provider, and we cannot see it.
- The family: the family name and the children's first names, age, colour and emoji – or a photo, if you choose to add one.
- Content: tasks, weekly plan, rewards, hearts, pocket money, approvals, messages to the child and history.
- Parent PIN: stored only in encrypted form, so it cannot be read.
- Subscription: whether the family has an active subscription, which one, and when it ends.
- Children's own devices: an anonymous technical identifier, so the device can be linked to the child's profile. Children have no account, email or password.
What the app does not do
No ads, no tracking and no analytics tools. We do not sell information or share it with others for their own purposes.
What the information is used for
Only to make the app work: signing parents in, showing each child the right tasks and keeping the family's devices up to date. The legal basis is providing the service you asked for (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
Reminders about today's tasks are created by the phone itself and are not sent through our server.
Where the information is kept
The family's information is stored with Google Firebase (Google Ireland Limited) on servers in the EU. Google is our data processor. All transfers are encrypted. The sample family in the app is stored only on the device.
Purchases
The subscription is bought through Apple, which handles payment under Apple's own privacy policy. On Android, the subscription is bought through Google Play under Google's privacy policy. We receive no payment information.
How long
For as long as the family exists in the app. If a parent chooses Delete the family and my account under Family, the family's information and the account are deleted immediately. A child's device can leave the family under Me.
Children
Children never create an account themselves. A parent creates the child's profile and invites the child's device, and can correct or delete the child's information at any time. Purchases and settings are behind the parent's PIN.
Your rights
You can access, correct, delete and receive a copy of your information. Most of this can be done in the app; otherwise write to us. You can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
Changes
If we change this policy, we update this page and the date at the top.
